I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction at IUPUI. Previously, I had worked more than five years as a full-stack software developer as well as a UX designer.

I started my journey as a full-stack developer in 2016. Right at the outset, I felt I wanted to write more than a few lines of code. I want to solve problems and make things simpler, smarter, and more attractive; which takes more than ‘if conditions’ and ‘for loops’.

My vision is to be an industry design leader who can build teams that are known for creating aesthetically pleasing, efficient, and easy-to-operate products. My goal is to simplify the complexity of a product without losing a single ounce of its useful functionality.

Apart from that, I love embroidery, doodling, painting, and exploring new places. I’ve dabbled in pottery as well since I love to try new art forms.

Advice to new students: If you never try, you’ll never know. A new country, and new cohort, come with new challenges and opportunities. Keep your eyes open and try new things.
