Hometown: Indianapolis

Undergraduate degree: Art History B.A., Herron School of Art + Design, IUPUI; Museum Studies certificate, Classical Studies minor

About: I am a student in the MLIS program specializing in digital curation. I’m largely interested in ethics in digital preservation, memory in the digital age, and digital humanities. As always I’m drawn towards community collaborations, collections, and data.

Luckily for me the IUPUI MLIS program allows me to explore all these interests so that one day I can pursue them professionally in my work and career. As a SOIC graduate ambassador I hope to encourage other students who might be intimidated or unsure of the thought of pursuing an advance degree. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or just want to chat!

Advice for new students: Don’t be afraid to take risks in order to tackle your present goal and be persistent but know your limit!
