Bioinformatics grad student captures poster award

Sudhir Chowbina, a master’s degree student in the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing, Bioinformatics program, claimed a high honor for his research poster at the MidSouth Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Society conference recently. Chowbina, who is studying under the direction of Dr. Jake Y. Chen, earned an honorable mention award for his entry in the conference’s posters presentation event.
His poster entitled, "HPD: Online Integrated Human Pathway Database Software Enabling Systems Biology Studies", was recognized among more than 75 poster presentations at the conference. Other authors of the poster are Peter M. Li, Harini N. Kasamsetty, and Prof. Chen. Congratulations Sudhir!
