NEWM-N 345 Organic Modeling and Texturing

  • Intermediate organic modeling course, aimed at achieving high-detail, professional quality 3D models for games, film, architecture, science, and other application areas. This course will explore using the foundations 3D modeling, Sculpture, and Texture painting to output believable creations.

    Extended Course Description

    Students create 3D characters for games and CG films. We discuss fundamentals of how to model, sculpt, texture, shade, and puppeteer the characters. Theory in observational drawing, anatomy, and reference are all strongly reviewed as well.
