An introduction to information sources and services for the social sciences including anthropology, archaeology, cultural studies, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology, and sociology.

- Understand the basics of the nature, scope, and characteristics of the disciplines.
- Identify and understand the scope and functionality of the major information resources in the disciplines.
- Understand key elements of the nature of information seeking behavior by scholars, students, and others working with social science information sources.
