Undergraduate degrees and certificates

B.S. in Biomedical Informatics

This program is aimed at students with an introductory background in both computing and biology. It integrates knowledge from health, information systems, biomedical science, and other related areas. You can focus on bioinformatics and research-based medical data management. Or learn to solve problems in computational biology and information security using health informatics. You also can pursue premedical bioinformatics as your first step toward a medical degree.

B.S. in Health Information Management

Develop a well-rounded understanding of health care operations, preparing you for a future in technology and information management in a hospital or clinical setting. You may choose to earn a graduate degree to further your interests in informatics or administration in health care.

Medical Coding Certificate

You’ll help vital medical data get where it needs to go in the Information Age. Medical coders ensure not only that bills get paid, but that health care providers can precisely record patients’ care, so crucial procedures don’t get missed.
