The School of Informatics and Computing’s free virtual workshops, starting in Fall 2020, give you an edge on success. Take a break from your routine with these fun, hands-on sessions and get a taste of the actual projects our students do at SoIC.

You’ll learn to solve real-world problems in artificial intelligence, biomedical informatics, professional-quality livestreaming, and more.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to become a beginning video game developer! With Epic Unreal Engine 4—used to create “Batman: Arkham Asylum,” “Gears of War,” and the “Final Fantasy 7” remake—you’ll develop a basic world or landscape in this hands-on introduction to the world’s leading game engine.​
