SoIC Announces Opening of I-Learning Center
Informatics Professor and Program Director Sara Hook and Lecturer Jennifer Stewart secured a Learning Environment grant from the IUPUI Center for Teaching & Learning for the creation of an I-Learn Center in the School of Informatics and Computing, Department of Human-Centered Computing (HCC).

Meet Stacy Zearing, Director of Development
The school’s first full-time development director for Indianapolis. Zearing earned a B.S. in Public Affairs from IUB in 1994 and received a certificate in nonprofit executive leadership from the IU School of Philanthropy/SPEA in 2011.

Alumni Spotlight: Siva Kumpatla, M.S. Bioinformatics '04
Siva has over 25 years of research experience that includes work in top academic and industrial laboratories in Asia, Europe and North America. He has worked on multiple model systems, crops of agricultural importance and also in human molecular genetics and he leverages this diverse and broad background in contributing to both basic and applied areas in life sciences.
